My name is Kevin and I live in Kelowna BC and I love to hike all over the valley and have been planning a few multiple day treks this year. I live in the southern part of Central Sweden right next to some great forests and the winters get really cold here, thats why I chose the Survivorman XL Zip hammock with insulation to use for my outdoor adventures. I really like the bug netting even if there are no insects around it diffuses the wind passing through the hammock which is really pleasant. I switched to the hammock back in I always get a great night sleep, which is key for the next days hike. I avoid any established backcountry sites. I find my own spot for the night based on the principles of Leave No Trace. It is disheartening when I see areas that have been impacted by careless campers. A friend just invited me to the Adirondacks the end of May this year safely so this is perfect timing. Your gift will get used for car camping, 2 or 3 night hikes, and kayak camping. I have no winter gear than clothes so the insulation will be a super nice treat my friends do winter camping and I havent been able to join them.
