Every year during the holiday season, Tilles Park is transformed into a Winter Wonderland with more than a million twinkling lights and various holiday scenes, including lights that are synchronized with the holiday music, a tunnel of lights, a toy factory, holiday bells, a bubbling stream and of course, Santa and his reindeer. This is one of the most popular light displays in the area. Make your visit extra special with a horse-drawn carriage ride through the park! Winter Wonderland opens on Wednesday, November 24, and closes January 1, Winter Wonderland is open for vehicular traffic and carriage rides every day but Mondays early in the season and Saturdays from pm. Saturdays are reserved for carriage rides only. Mondays early in the season are reserved for Winter Wonderland Walk only. Advanced reservations are recommended, and ticket prices vary depending on type of carriage and number in party. Several sizes of carriages are available. Carriage departures begin at pm and continue at regular intervals each night. You must purchase for a specific departure time. Everyone two years and older counts towards capacity. The event proceeds thru rain, shine, cold, hot, etc. Many not all carriages do have roofs over them. If carriage rides are canceled it will be posted on RainoutLine. The entire carriage can be reserved by purchasing all 24 seats. The only way to guarantee your group will all get seats on the same carriage is to purchase all 24 seats.
