I put batteries in it and synced it up with the app Talking Superstars without any problems. Once that was taken care of, I went to the website that is listed in the pamphlet and downloaded the new sleepy sounds pack for the doll. My computer did take a bit longer than usual to download the driver for this, so be patient. Once the download was complete, I was able to sync the new sounds to the doll without any issues and before I knew it, Ginger was singing Rockabye Baby. I do believe these toys are pretty spendy, and the shipping is quick but its pricey, which is why I only rated it 4 stars , but the doll does everything the app advertised it to do, and my little guy gets to open it when he gets home from school today Im eager to see the look on his face So far, I am happy with my purchase- I have not had any issues yet. They dont talk to each other and they dont interact with the app like they say they will. It has about four prerecorded sounds. A fart, a song, sleeping, and a laugh. Which gets old quickly. Then it comes with a download cable which does nothing. You go to the website and it says sounds are not available yet. Then when you get the notice that they are available, they only come in windows version. If you have a mac, it wont download the file because it works with windows only.
