The issue is the PIN number shown on the giftcard is only 3 digits, not 4 digits as expected, and the card can not be used online to make a purchase however a different giftcard with a 4 digit PIN worked correctly. The problem turned out to be a missing 0 at the start of the PIN. Could you try adding a 0 to the front of the pin.
