I am assuming they are clearing out old stock since Virus has different pant designs on their official website. Ive never bought Virus before because its so expensive regular prices are in line with Lululemon, quality is definitely better , but my lifting buddies all swear by it. This is either a shill post or a total niche that Ive been completely oblivious to, and Im not sure which it is. Im not sure this brand will be fashionable in a couple months when thousands are dieing in Canadian cities. It seems overpriced to me even after the deal. Lava Hot??? You are already setting the bar high for failure. Id have to disagree. Nah, seems like a site that marks their stuff up to call it a sale resulting in you buying it at their actual regular price. Better off buying better Under Armor and Nike stuff at those prices. I wish I were making commission on this though. Stupid post. Shouldve remembered RFDers dont lift when I posted. Proud Sodomite. I think the real flaw here was the lava hot call. It could be good but all we have at this point is your word. Maybe this is too niche. Last edited by cutey on Feb 24th, pm, edited 1 time in total.
Forum Rules. Forum Main Forums Workout Equipment dont buy from xtc fitness. Results 1 to 26 of Thread dont buy from xtc fitness. Anyhow, just fair warning for other people looking for a bench. That said, I purchased one of their benches in early march. It was the closest thing I could find to a pendlay bench which I couldnt find in stock anywhere and I was optimistic. The site said it was backordered but would ship in days. Flash forward 2 weeks and I call for status, I get told they were having trouble with fabrication and it would ship soon, 2 more weeks and I call again and get another excuse but get told it will ship by the end of the week. Beginning of June they tell me it will ship by friday and sure enough I get a fedex notification but there is no tracking information. I wait 10 days and call again and the person who answers tells me the thing hasnt shipped which is why I only received a reference number for fedex. Get told it will ship by the end of the week and get the actual tracking number this time. Finally on June 28th I get the bench, they shipped it in a concept 2 rower box with only the styrofoam from the rower stuck in the box to protect the bench so obviously the entire thing is banged up. There are big chips in all of the paint and powder coating, every piece of metal is affected and a bolt from the bench dug into the seat and doesnt seem like it will ever be completely normal. I sent pictures and a note to the company requesting a partial refund to reduce the cost to their cost and a discount on shipping since it was so carelessly done and Seriously, dont buy from these guys. They suck. Assuming OP is American Why choose XTC? My experiences with them were degrees from yours, and would gladly buy from them again. When you press, you train much more than the shoulders and arms. You train the soul of the sport of barbell exercise. Originally Posted by jafomofo. I specifically wanted to get a pendlay bench or equivalent that was adjustable but included a vertical support for bench. I know its silly but I just dont feel confident in the fully adjustable benches that are delete this feature to permit decline. Anyhow, I looked around and they had a bench that had what I wanted and with the strong US dollar compared to the canadian dollar, the cost wasnt bad. Right now, if you are buying something that doesnt have significant shipping costs there is a large discount to be had buying through canada. I bought some high rent kitchen knives for 70 cents on the dollar earlier in the year which is what had me looking at canadian suppliers. So the bench was on sale for and they hit me for for shipping which after conversion was shipped. Ill post some pictures later, I dont have access to imgur from work. Im having some problems comprehending what you are saying. It seems from this thread Gym equipment companies that have gone out of business that you understood that Pendlay was out of business. If the Pendlay, I can understand not excuse the fulfilment issue. If the X-series 2. So I think they may have indeed had supply issues, as you may have been one of the first to order this. At any rate, Id imagine they should be able to resolve this issue to your satisfaction if you use a little tact.
